USHAŞ Istanbul Office Hosted It’s First Overseas Delegation!

USHAŞ General Manager and Chairman of the Board Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya met with Advisor to the President of Sudan Elfadil Maarouf, Elrazi Hospital Director Dr. Mohamed A. Khogali, and his accompanying delegation.

In the meeting held at the USHAŞ Istanbul office, the delegation gave information about the needs in the field of health in their countries, health systems and hospital services; and stated that they were very impressed by Turkey’s health system and that the Turkish health system is taken  as an example. They have added that it was a great success for USHAŞ to export personal protective equipment, COVID-19 test kits, medicine, medical devices and ICU ventilators to more than 30 countries, especially during the pandemic process.

The delegation stated that they found the works of Turkish Medical City, the umbrella brand of USHAŞ, to be very successful and thanked our Health Tourism Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ece Salihoğlu from whom they have received information about Turkish hospitals and health system. Stating that Başakşehir Çam and Sakura Hospital is impressive as an example, the delegation added that they want to be involved in the work of USHAŞ in the field of health tourism and that they are ready to sign the necessary protocols in this regard.

Kılıçkaya, after listening to the demands of the Sudan Delegation, said that as USHAŞ, necessary negotiations could be made for possible cooperation in health tourism, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. Expressing that they want to implement our suggestions and opinions, the delegation invited USHAŞ General Manager to Sudan and asked for necessary observations and possible collaborations.
