Murat MERCAN, General Manager of USHAŞ met with the Deputy Minister of Health of Iraq Dr. Tawfeeq Waleed TAWFEEQ and the accompanying delegation

In the meeting that started with introduction, Mr. MERCAN touched upon the structure and fields of activity of USHAŞ and stated that USHAŞ is authorized to conclude international agreements in all fields of its activity. During the meeting, in which the areas of bilateral cooperation between Iraq and USHAŞ were evaluated, the PPP model for city hospitals with advanced technology and treatment capacity in Turkey, together with the health tourism experience and details of patients coming to our country from Iraq were evaluated. Expressing the potential of USHAŞ in health tourism, supply of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, digital health systems, hospital management, training and consultancy services, MERCAN underlined that USHAŞ has a strong infrastructure to fulfil the demands that may come from Iraq in all these matters.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. MERCAN emphasized that the works to be carried out between Iraq and USHAŞ should be started as soon as possible. Dr. TAWFEEQ, on the other hand, invited our company to Iraq as soon as possible in order to evaluate both patient treatment and supply of pharmaceuticals and medical devices processes in detail.
