On June 18, 2025, USHAŞ General Manager Behlül ÜNVER hosted an important meeting with Russian Federation Trade Representative to the Republic of Türkiye Aydar Gashigullin and Trade Advisor Şamil Yanmurdin.
During the meeting, USHAŞ’s areas of activity and the HealthTürkiye brand were comprehensively introduced, and opportunities for cooperation with the Russian Federation in line with Türkiye’s health tourism vision were discussed. In particular, USHAŞ’s potential contributions to the Russian-Turkish Health Business Forum, planned to be held as part of Russian Health Week, were evaluated.
At the meeting, it was decided to establish a “Russian-Turkish Health Tourism Working Group” to develop health tourism between the two countries. In this context, concrete steps such as coordinating with the Russian Ministry of Health, directing patients from Russia directly through the HealthTürkiye platform, and collaborating in special treatment areas such as bone marrow transplantation were discussed.
