USHAŞ ACADEMY CONTINUES TO ADD VALUE TO HEALTH TOURISM WITH PROJECT PARTNERS

Participation certificates of the “HIGHWAY for Nurses” training programme organised in cooperation with USHAŞ ACADEMY and UNIHOUSE were presented to the participants at a ceremony held at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital on 07.06.2023. The participation certificates of our nurses, who engaged in the training with great motivation, were given with the participation of Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Nurettin Yiyit along with our esteemed hospital administrators, UNIHOUSE Director Ben Muziek and his team, as well as USHAŞ representatives. The 60-hour interactive training programme, which was organised within the framework of the protocol signed with UNIHOUSE in order to improve the competencies and foreign language levels of health professionals in our country in the field of international health tourism, was presented with topics such as patient relations and patient-oriented approaches, intercultural sensitivities and communication, ethical values, coping skills development and teamwork that may be necessary during international patient care. Our 15 nurses from different departments of Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital successfully completed the training programme, midterm exams and main evaluation exams at the end of the training and were awarded their certificates. Our efforts to gain competence and language skills in the field of international health tourism will continue and will be announced on our web page within the framework of USHAŞ ACADEMY training plans.
