“Başakşehir Performed the First Kidney Transplant in Health Tourism”

30/11/2020

As the Covid 19 pandemic is globally continuing, USHAŞ, which was established and operates to make Turkey a global brand in health tourism, brought Kazakhstani Taiba Shakerulla Ataulla and her donor husband Mohammad Parviz to Çam and Sakura City Hospital, who have been waiting for kidney transplant surgery for a long time.

The mother of 2, and a Bachelor of Law, Ataulla has been suffering from kidney disease since the age of 6 and has not been to any country for treatment. “We knew that Türkiye is a country which is successful in organ transplantation. For this reason, we chose Turkish doctors. I had so much faith in my doctor. I opened my eyes to a whole new world” said Ataulla.

Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital Kidney Transplant Supervisor Assoc. Dr. V. Melih Kara said, “While many countries in the world have stopped transplant surgeries due to coronavirus, we successfully perform transplant surgeries in our completely sterile and reliable center. Transplant surgeries in the world stopped due to the pandemic. We have become the patients’ hope. ”

As USHAŞ, we would like to express our gratitude to the valuable crew of our Başakşehir City Hospital and wish our patients a quick recovery.
