USHAŞ Chairman of the Board Mücahit Sarıtaş Met With Kazakhstan Health Minister Azhar Giniyat And The Accompanying Delegation

Kazakh Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat and the accompanying delegation, who came to our country as part of the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kasım Cömert Tokayev, met with the Chairman of the Board of USHAŞ Mr. Mücahit SARITAŞ and the President of TİTCK Assoc. Dr. Tolga KARAKAN.

Emphasizing the transformation in Turkey’s health system in the meeting where bilateral cooperation areas and concrete steps to be taken were evaluated, Sarıtaş said, “Turkey has become one of the countries where the most comprehensive service is provided in the world in terms of health infrastructure, physicians, health personnel and service quality, as well as the capacity of health information systems. We are also in a very important position in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. More than 80 percent of the pharmaceuticals used in Turkey are produced in boxes,” he said. Underlining that the transformation in the health system is a long and difficult process, but the transfer of experience will accelerate this process, Sarıtaş stated that USHAŞ plays an important role in exporting this experience.

In addition to the presentation on the activities of USHAŞ, the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System was introduced to the delegation by TITCK.

Expressing that they closely follow the transformation in Turkey’s health system, Kazakhstan Health Minister Azhar Giniyat stated that they want to identify areas to cooperate with USHAŞ. At the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation between the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan and USHAŞ in the upcoming period were evaluated.
