Yilmaz graduated from İstanbul Haliç University, department of Computer Engineering in 2007. He started his career as an engineer in network and system administration department of Garanti Technology affiliated to Doğuş Holding in 2007. He got involved in the infrastructural transition process of the branches. He attended a language school between 2008-2011 in the USA and received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern States University.

In 2012, he took office as a business analyst in Pendik Municipality to gain experience in functioning of public and information structures. Between 2012-2019, he took place in many projects as a project supervisor, business development manager and information technologies manager. He further took place as an information technologies manager in extensive projects such as the development and renewal of Electronic Document Management System and Document Management System projects, the design and actualization of Information Management Systems (integrated apps and mobile apps portal that contain municipality ERP modules.), the analysis of process-based software in compliance with BPMN 2.0 standards, the completion of their integration services to the institution, many integration projects with public institutions (e-Government portal etc.), and finally the dissemination of Transition to Open-Source Systems project within institutions as well as in Turkey.

In 2019, he left the public sector with the decision to develop technology and provide consultancy in the transformation process to open source systems and to develop digital transformation and software for private sector and public institutions and took office as a digital transformation director in Gedik Holding. After establishing his own company, Yıldız, who is among the founders of Global Informatics Association (BİDER), continued his career as a technology consultant in the organizations that aim for digital transformation to manage miscellaneous processes such as managing informatics and affiliated organizations, organizing teams, restructuring e-commerce, CRM, mobile apps, web apps in the private sector, integrating ERP solutions into in-house processes, and preparing system and software infrastructure.
