PROF. DR. EMİNE ALP MEŞE

Born on 3 November 1973 in Kayseri, Meşe completed her primary, middle and high school education in Kırşehir and Adana. She completed Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1997 and received the title of medical doctor. She completed her specialization in Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology and became an Infectious Diseases Specialist
She served as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor at Erciyes University. Between 2004-2010, she completed her PhD in Infection Control at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Medical Microbiology, University of Nijmegen, Netherlands. She served as the Head of Infection Control Board at Erciyes University, Deputy Chief Physician, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and Vice Rector of Erciyes University. She served as Secretary of European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) Hospital Infections Working Group and Head of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Association (EKMUD) Sepsis Group.
Married with two children, Meşe has membership at European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), Hospital Infections and Control Association, Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Association (KLİMİK), Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Specialist Association (EKMUD), Viral Hepatitis Association, Surgical and Internal Sciences Intensive Care Association.
